Square tubing plus quality design is the hallmark of these safety ladders. Handrails and frames are constructed of 1" square tubular steel that is 40% stronger than round tube. Casters on the 2–4 step ladders are spring-loaded and locking. 5–16 step ladders have a heavy-duty EZY lock first step with a foot release. Choose from two stair tread types—EZY Tread or Grip-Strut®. The EZY Tread stair has 1"L x 3/8"W perforations to prevent slipping. For even more slip resistance, choose the Grip-Strut® tread, designed for wet or oily work conditions. Both styles have 7" deep steps with a 9" top platform. Ladder legs have rubber tips that grip the floor for extra stability. Sub-assemblies are welded, making them more durable. The hand rail sits 30" above platform on 2–13 step ladders and 37" on 13–16 step ladders.
